Why Me?

We often find ourselves in situations and wonder how we go there and why we are there. We may not know the answers to our everyday questions, but God always has an answer. We can not learn from a mistake unless we first make one. Often we are put in situations to learn from them and help other people down the road. God has a great plan for our lives and we can't queston him about every little thing. We may not understand the reason but sometimes it is not meant for us to understand...we just have to do it. Instead of asking God "why me", lets start saying "yes Lord" and do the will of our father.

Be Yourself

Be who you want to be...not who everyone else wants you to be. If we spend all our time trying to satisfy other people, we will never get anywhere in our lives ourselves. We have to quit worrying about what people think about us or how much they will like/hate us for what we do. Make your own decisions. Do what you know is right...not what everyone else thinks is right for you. You are your own individual. You have to answer for what you do..not everyone else. Don't go and do something just because everyone else is doing it. No matter how much you do to satisfy everyone, someone is still going to get upset with you. So don't worry about satisfying everyone else and satisfy yourself.

Love your enemies

Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; (Matt 5:43-44)

Love your enemies. Don't ever let someone get next to you so bad by them doing something wrong to you that you do something you will regret later. When people do us wrong...we have to pray for them. We can't fall down to their level and act like they do. We have to be the ones that show them we won't let them bother us and we will keep going. Most people that will do things against you are looking for a reason to try to hurt you. Don't let this happen to you! Don't be the person on the other side either.

Pray Through It...

Whatever crisis you face, pray through it. Whatever obstacle you must overcome, pray on it. Whatever miracle you are desperate for, pray for it. In times of trouble, when all seems lost, walk toward the Lord. If you can't walk, crawl. If you're too weak to crawl just reach out to Him. He will be there. He will save you. He will never forsake you.

I read this on Bishop TD Jake's Website. This is so true. No matter what we face in today's world God is always there to listen to your prayers. Pray your way through it. God has never failed me when i needed him and he will never fail you. One thing he doesn't do is fail.
